Tasks

-Software Development Management: Lead a cross-functional team of developers, UX designers, and validation specialists to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable laboratory software systems. -Product Leadership: Define the global software strategy for Eurofins’ in-house chromatography analytical instrument software, aligning with the company’s R&D, quality, and operational goals. -Deployment & Support: Plan and oversee the phased rollout of the software globally, ensuring consistent deployment, training, and post-launch support. -Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all software solutions meet regulatory and internal quality standards for laboratory informatics and data integrity. -Vendor and Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and manage partnerships with third-party software and hardware vendors to complement in-house development. -Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Eurofins’ global business units, laboratory operations, IT, and quality teams to ensure the software meets scientific, compliance and user requirements. -Integration & Architecture: Develop software capable of interfacing with a wide range of chromatographic instruments and laboratory systems (LIMS).

What You Bring

-Understanding of regulatory requirements -Experience with modern software development practices (Agile, DevOps). -Fluent written and oral in English Language. -Deep knowledge of chromatography instrument control, data processing, and reporting software. -Proven track record of managing chromatography data systems or similar instrument software. -Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional project management skills. -10+ years of experience in software product design, development and global deployment for analytical instruments, preferably chromatography systems. -Strong understanding of analytical chemistry workflows, data acquisition, and laboratory informatics systems. -Familiarity with cloud and on-premise architectures, cybersecurity, and enterprise-scale deployment. -Experience working for or with companies such as Thermo Fisher, Agilent, Waters, or SCIEX. -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Chemistry, Software Engineering, or a related field.
