Journeyman Installation - Commercial & Industrial

Overview

Install, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC/refrigeration systems, guiding techs.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Provides support by coordinating and following job schedules; i.e., labor hours, and material costs. -Provides support by interpreting blueprints as needed by foreman to ensure a timely and quality completion of the project.

What You Bring

-Strong understanding of building codes, safety standards, and industry regulations. -Ability to understand and follow all company policies and procedures and all applicable State and Federal laws. -4+ years of experience in the construction industry preferred and hands on field experience in commercial refrigeration, electrical and/or fixtures construction. -Knowledge of refrigeration systems and piping of refrigeration equipment. -Ability to use hand and power tools and good mechanical skills. -Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team. -Knowledge of plumbing and pipe fittings, and ability to pipe refrigeration equipment. -Knowledge of electrical systems and ability to wire installations. -Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and machinery related to the trade. -Ability to use typical business tools including E-Mail, Word, Excel, etc. -Strong communication and interpersonal skills. -Valid journeyman's license or certification in the relevant specialty trade. -Ability to work with minimal supervision. -Knowledge of and ability to read blueprints on refrigeration, electrical and plumbing. -High school diploma or GED, equivalent work experience and trade or technical school classes. -Knowledge of jobsite safety, ability to oversee work activities to ensure safe work practices and safety rule compliance.
