Design, develop, test mechanical systems for aerospace applications
-Coordinate with Project Engineering and Program Management to support targets and milestones for project budgets and schedules. -Provide technical design, analysis, and guidance for new product development, product improvements, test components, rigs, and systems. -Serve as technical contact and liaison between Mechanical Engineering and internal and external customers. -Lead and participate in efforts to solve problems with product design, inspection, manufacturing, and test encountered by vendors, company operations personnel, and customers. -Creates and/or guides the creation of technical documents, including Engineering drawings (following ASME Y14.5, ASME Y14.34 standards), test procedures, test reports, and design review material. -Supports IR&D projects and implementation of new technologies such as Additive Manufacturing.
-Geographic flexibility to relocate within the United States -Ability to relocate to one of the following Eaton facilities: Davenport, IA or Orchard Park, NYunity -Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering -Two or more relevant internships or co-op experiences -This role may include travel (up to 10%) within a local region as determined by the Assignment Manager -Minimum of one internship or co-op experience completed at the time of this application -Overall cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher -Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution, with a graduation date no later than August 2025 -Design engineering experience -This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to theInternational Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within themeaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e.‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee. -Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8 -Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or community -Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively explaintechnical concepts
