Tasks
-Leading, preparing, directing and reviewing technical reports, proposals and cost estimates -Interfacing directly with clients to understand client needs and develop proposals, scope, costs, schedule and budgets. -Responsible for quality control review of proposals and reports written by others. -Leading and mentoring junior technical staff to help them grow their careers as experts -Directing and performing field studies, data gathering and sampling activities at sites including indoor air, soil vapor, soil and groundwater sampling, groundwater flow and hydrogeological data evaluation, vapor intrusion assessment, chemical data and contaminant fate and transport evaluation, well installation, aquifer testing, and groundwater monitoring, groundwater, soil vapor and soil remediation evaluation, environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance services, and permit acquisition. -Leading and conducting contaminated site assessment/remediation; hydrogeology; and environmental risk management studies and services

What You Bring
You are qualified for this position if you have strong, experienced based, technical skills with exceptional project management skills, strong inter-personal communication skills. You have successfully led and conducted various site assessment and remediation projects and have strong regulatory experience. You are high-energy achievement oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit. You will promote our brand and build business through interaction with prospects and clients, high quality work, publications, and technical presentations. -A Professional Engineering (PE) Registration in California or a registration in Geology (PG) or Hydrogeology (CHG) is REQUIRED. -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited university in chemical/civil/environmental engineering or related engineering field and at least 10 years of demonstrated consulting experience in California. -OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER Certification. -Excellent writing and analytical skills a must. -Operational knowledge of computer databases and office programs (MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word). -Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to prepare reports and proposals. -Project team management oversight and leadership ability.

All local employment laws apply. Base pay information is based on market location. Applicants should apply via the NV5 careers site. NV5 offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including medical, dental, life insurance, PTO, 401(k) and professional development/advancement opportunities. The pay range for this position in California is $120,000 to $150,000 per year. Base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
