The Role

Overview

Assist in daily ops & maintenance of commercial facilities, ensure tenant satisfaction

Tasks

-Review and approve work orders and maintenance requests -Maintain positive tenant relationships through proactive communication -Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues -Conduct regular building inspections and equipment assessments -Coordinate emergency response procedures -Monitor building automation systems (BAS) and energy management systems -Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards -Support preventive maintenance programs and vendor management -Respond to tenant service requests and concerns -Assist with capital improvement projects and renovations -Support lease administration and space planning initiatives -Support budgeting and cost control initiatives -Coordinate with building engineers and maintenance staff -Coordinate tenant improvements and move-in/move-out activities -Manage vendor relationships and contractor oversight -Assist in overseeing daily facility operations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems

What You Bring

-Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills -Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities -Previous experience in Class A commercial office buildings -Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or related field preferred -Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems -Professional certifications (FMP, SFP, LEED AP) -Understanding of building codes and safety regulations -Technical background in building systems and operations -Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities -Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) -Strong problem-solving and analytical skills -2-3 years of commercial real estate or facility management experience -Knowledge of sustainability and energy efficiency practices -Familiarity with building automation systems and energy management
