Overview

Lead MEP engineering projects, manage team, and drive business development in Chicago.

Tasks

-Stay current with industry codes, tools, and technologies. -Contribute to business development and maintain client relationships. -Define project scope, fees, and design criteria; assign and review technical tasks. -Handle administrative tasks including billing assistance, forecasting, and approvals. -Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain QA/QC standards. -Mentor and develop MEP staff; support hiring and performance oversight. -Lead and manage MEP engineering projects, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule compliance.

What You Bring

-Strong knowledge of ASHRAE, NEC, NFPA, and related standards. -15+ years MEP design experience and 5+ years project/staff management. -Skilled with Revit, MS Office, and HVAC load/energy modeling tools; ERP experience preferred. -Experience managing scope, schedule, and project financials. -B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering and Illinois PE license. -Strong communication skills and valid driver’s license with ability to travel.
