Tasks

-Deliver progress updates and reports, showcasing your ability to drive results. -Mentor junior team members while growing our presence in the Utah region. -Uphold the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance. -Develop and oversee project plans, timelines, and budgets. -Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project alignment. -Lead efforts to identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.

What You Bring

Civil Science evaluates and determines on a case-by-case basis whether it is willing to sponsor an individual to receive a temporary or permanent work visa (e.g., E-3, H-1B, H-1B1, or TN visa status). Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass both a criminal background check and driving record review. We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Civil Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team in our Lehi or Salt Lake City office. If you’re ready to take your career to the next level, work on exciting projects, and make a meaningful impact, this opportunity is for you! -A track record of leading project teams and mentoring engineers and designers. -Knowledge of Utah drainage requirements and municipal design codes. -Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. -Must be able to work on active construction sites, which may include uneven terrain, exposure to varying weather conditions, and moderate to high noise levels. -A Professional Engineer (PE) License in Utah or the ability to obtain one within six months. -Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. -Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies. -Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. -Strong proposal writing, contract management, and client management skills. -Proficiency in Civil3D design software. -A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. -Technical expertise in civil engineering services, including land development, utilities, grading, surveying, construction oversight, and planning. -Proven experience (7+ years) in land development/municipal projects. -Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
