Oracle E-Business Suite Application Developer (Mid-Level)

Overview

Develop and support Oracle EBS applications, create interfaces, custom OAF pages, and troubleshoot.

Tasks

-Develop custom OAF pages as per business requirements and customize existing OAF pages in Oracle E-Business Suite using extensions and personalization’s. -With limited guidance, perform defect correction (analysis, design, code) on less complex issues. -Design, develop and maintain interfaces, extensions, and integration of Oracle e-Business Suite applications with internal and external systems. -Create/modify processes, functions, and roles in Oracle Workflows to modify the existing functionality using Oracle Workflow Builder. -Develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, materialized views, record types, and hints for performance tuning using PL/SQL with Oracle Database. -Participate in all phases of the IT project life cycle including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, integration, implementation, and software product deployment. -Work with teammates to gain understanding of systems while conducting root cause analysis of issues, reviewing new and existing code and/or performing unit testing. -Customize existing Oracle Forms as per business requirements and forms personalization using Oracle Form Builder. -Leverage multiple tools including Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflows, OAF, JDeveloper, TOAD, SQL Developer, XML Publisher, BI Publisher, and SQL*Loader.

The term suitable, in this context, means substantial compatibility with stated academic level and job experience requirements, and ability to perform job duties. -Understands and assists in gathering and analyzing customer requirements and may respond to application outages following the appropriate processes. -SQL & PL/SQL -Oracle Webadi -3 to 5 years of software engineering/development experience -Oracle Workflows -Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud Applications or Oracle Integration Cloud is a plus. -Position requires demonstrable experience and proficiency with the following: -Oracle Forms -1-3 years’ experience with EBS development tools such as Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow Builder and Oracle Application Framework (OAF). -Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information technology/related field OR four additional years of related experience in lieu of a degree. -Ability to adapt and learn technology based on needs of the team/organization. -Oracle Applications Framework (OAF). -Experience with Oracle EBS version R12.2+ is a plus -Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2+
