MATERIAL HANDLER I B 12 Hour Shift

Overview

Handle, stock, load/unload, and operate forklifts in a 12‑hr overnight shift.

Tasks

-Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to Management. -Operates forklift equipment. -Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor product, maintaining displays (tools, caulk, etc.), moving, store, and replenish material, and conduct daily cycle counts. -Performs receiving duties such as receive and unload inbound material, process inbound shipments, stock material, process customer returns and notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims. -Maintains clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom and general office maintenance, etc.

What You Bring

-Must have a minimum of 6 months previous stand-up forklift or order picker equipment experience. No experience required for pallet jack. -Ability to understand and speak basic English. -Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks. -High School diploma or equivalent experience; Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator. -Ability to work safely and conscientiously. -Good oral and written communication skills. -Good record-keeping skills. -Accurate measurement capability. -Good listening skills. -1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience.
