Tasks
-Integrate with external partners (Morris Interactive, Northlands, GDI, SIIT) for training rollouts. -Partner and provide leadership in maintaining effective relationships with Indigenous communities. -Stay informed of uranium mining industry developments and adapt programs accordingly. -Collaborate with NexGen departments to promote Indigenous engagement. -Manage administrative functions with a focus on advancing strategic leadership, including coordination with government stakeholders and reporting to the CEO. -Maintains quality and safety standards to ensure NexGen's Elite Standards are met across all work streams. -Represent NexGen on Implementation Committees, Environment Committees, and Joint Working Groups. -Work collaboratively with Indigenous partners and contractors to ensure cultural alignment. -Schedule and facilitate monthly meetings with institutions and training groups to align on Nation needs. -Applies specialized knowledge in own area of expertise and openly shares information and knowledge with others. -Communicates in an open candid and consistent manner with impact to inform, enroll, coach, and inspire. -Monitor and report on employment statistics, such as retention, along with training program effectiveness. -Manage NexGen-led programs like Pathways to Your Future and Community Career Fairs. -Participate and lead formal engagement meetings to maintain relationships and align interests. -Provides clear and informative explanations to support effective decisions in line with company objectives. -Maintain and update SharePoint for accurate consolidated documentation. -Support planning, execution, and documentation of training activities. -Plans, manages and follows through to ensure the flow and timely completion of activities to deliver successful work results. -Implement training and employment strategies in line with IBA/MBA commitments. -Travel to communities for graduation ceremonies, interviews, and contractor oversight. -Identify professional development opportunities for graduates of training initiatives. -Independently provide proactive recommendations and implement solutions to support strategic goals. -Effectively builds rapport and appropriately delivers information (oral and written) in a timely, well-organized, thoughtful, and engaging manner. -Format presentations, prepare monthly reports, and maintain reporting requirements. -Develop and prepare budgets for training and development programs. -Develop and execute strategic career development plans aligned with operational readiness. -Oversee contractor management for training delivery, including tracking expenses and performance. -Lead logistical planning and coordination of events.

What You Bring
-Proven track record in facilitating diverse groups across different levels and sectors. -Self-starter with a high level of initiative, capable of providing proactive recommendations. -10+ years of progressive experience in training, workforce development, or employment programming, preferably within the mining or resource development sector. -Able to identify, articulate and problem solve for complex situations with consideration for outcomes. -Uses creative, conceptual, and/or inductive reasoning. -University Degree in Education, Communication, Human Resources, Indigenous Studies, Public Administration, or a related field. -Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills with internal teams and external partners (e.g., Morris Interactive, Northlands, GDI, SIIT). -Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and career development initiatives, including short- and long-term workforce readiness programs. -Excellent communication, planning, and leadership skills, including formatting presentations and preparing monthly reports. -Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint, with experience in maintaining documentation and reporting systems. -Experience working with Indigenous communities and organizations, with a strong understanding of culturally responsive training and engagement practices. -Maintains effective and professional approach, demonstrating resilience and accountability in a fluid fast paced work environment. -Proven ability to manage contractors, budgets, and administrative reporting, including CEO-level and government stakeholder communications. -Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in-classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc.).
