Overview

Maintain and care for client’s grounds, including landscaping, irrigation, and waste removal.

Tasks

-Maintaining lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, turf, and irrigation -Keeping grounds free from trash, litter, and debris, and emptying trash receptacles -Trimming trees, hedges, and shrubs, and preventing and eliminating weeds -Utilizing insecticides, fertilizers, and chemical sprays to treat diseases -Conducting basic irrigation audits and performing basic irrigation repairs -Lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds -Maintaining site landscaping -Operating and maintaining trucks and power tools -Climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times a day -Lift, bend, squat, and stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipments -Operating and maintaining hand tools, such as loppers, saws, and shovels efficiently -Fertilizing lawn, trees, flowers, and shrubs, and spreading mulch -Removing snow by using a shovel or snow blower

-High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent -The ability to work well both as part of a team and on your own -Act as a collaborative team player, possess a strong customer service orientation, and be a consultative problem solver -Ability to multi-task and change directions easily -Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate -1+ years of groundskeeping or related experience -Time management - organizing, planning, and prioritizing -Proficient in using manual and power tools safely -Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality -Attention to detail -Standing for extended periods of time -The ability to process negative feedback and remain professional -Physically agile and dexterous -Ability to follow instructions
