The Role

Overview

Support lab operations through sample prep, equipment upkeep, and documentation.

Tasks

-Prepare general lab paperwork, including recording analysis results, tracking samples, and maintaining bench sheets and lab logbooks. -Wash lab glassware to prepare for the next day's samples and stock lab supplies. -Resolve discrepancies and anomalies to ensure proper sample labeling. -Retrieve samples from Sample Control for analysis. -Perform sample preparation tasks such as aliquoting samples, spiking and tracing samples, preparing reagents, bottling samples, and setting up liquid racks.

What You Bring

-Proficiency in laboratory and sample preparation techniques. -Achievements in extracurricular activities, internships, research, or jobs for new graduates are desirable. -Associate Degree is a plus. -High School Diploma required. -Experience in quality assurance, microbiology, food chemistry, and environmental monitoring. -Understanding of biology and chemistry principles. -Background in food safety, food science, and quality control. -Experience from a food service background is advantageous. -Consistent job tenure of at least 1 year is preferred.
