Tasks

-Team Leadership & Coordination – Oversee direct reports, manage deliverables, and align design efforts with Bid and Project Execution teams while ensuring efficient project execution. -Design Compliance & Quality – Ensure adherence to design policies, procedures, and quality control plans while meeting compliance and contractual obligations. -Technical Oversight & Constructability – Audit design documents for accuracy, oversee clash-detection processes, and collaborate with the Construction team to address constructability concerns. -Stakeholder Engagement & Negotiation – Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and project teams, ensuring smooth collaboration and resolution of design-related issues. -Risk, Cost & Performance Management – Identify and mitigate design risks, ensure cost-effective solutions, track performance specifications, and manage budget or contract variances.

What You Bring

-Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field; LEED, PMP, and P. Eng designations are advantageous. -15+ years in construction, with at least 5 years as a Design Manager on design-build projects of similar scope.
