Intermediate/Senior Design Engineer - Water & Wastewater

Overview

Design municipal water and wastewater conveyance systems, manage projects and oversee construction.

Tasks

-Design conveyance systems for municipal projects including force mains, storm sewers, and sanitary sewers. -Support the delivery of upcoming projects, planning studies and designs. -Work in conjunction with municipal, utilities, and approval agencies to ensure consistent communication wit all parties. -Assist field staff on construction projects. -Collaborate with Project Managers, and other departments as required. -Assist with start-up, testing, and commissioning -Ensure current projects remain on budget and on track.

What You Bring

-Experience with trenchless technologies, and pipeline rehabilitation. -Experience with Ontario Environmental standards and guidelines. -A current and valid Professional Engineer certification (P.Eng) in Ontario. -Project management experience with municipal water and sewer projects is an asset. -Minimum 5 years of experience related to the design and construction administration of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects. -Experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Civil 3D software -Valid license, ability to travel and visit projects sites within Ontario -Planning and permitting processes experience.
