Senior pipeline engineer leading design, analysis, and project delivery for pipelines.

Tasks

-Regularly meet and correspond with clients or outside personnel -Lead coordination of design activities with other disciplines (Pipeline Facilities, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation and Control, etc.) -Lead in the execution of engineering activities -Provide leadership, training and mentoring to less experienced engineers and team members -Lead in preparation of proposals and scope development, including -Pipeline design including plans, profiles, details and associated bill of materials -Calculations for studies and reports -Pipeline facility design (metering and regulating stations, storage field upgrades, and compressor stations) including plans, sections, and details and associated bill of materials -Provide short term field support during construction -Support business development and marketing initiatives -Coordination to obtain survey, geotechnical investigations, permitting, land acquisition. -Develop and improve processes, tools and/or factory acceptance testing

What You Bring

-Minimum of 7 years related experience (completion of master’s degree in related field may be substituted for one year of experience) -Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET accredited program -Capability of solving difficult problems that require adaptation and modification of standard approaches, techniques, procedures and criteria -Strong preference for those with: -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Travel: Yes, 15 % of the Time -Proficiency with 49 CFR Part 192 and ASME B31.8. Preference for familiarity with 49 CFR Part 195 and ASME B31.4 -Profession Engineer registration strongly preferred -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
