Construction Project Engineer

Overview

Assist superintendents/project managers with site management and documentation.

Tasks

-Coordinate subcontractor insurance, bonds, and compliance paperwork. -Manage the RFI and submittal process from creation through close-out. -Resolve project-related accounting items. -Support project safety by attending daily huddles and documenting inspections. -Maintain daily logs, progress photos, material procurement logs, change orders, and close-out documents. -Assist Superintendents and Project Managers in site management to meet schedule and quality goals. -Help create and update project schedules using MS Project. -Process owner billings and track job-cost codes.

What You Bring

-Proficiency in construction management software such as MS Project, Bluebeam, and Procore. -Ability to read plans, specifications, and shop drawings with a strong understanding of construction means and methods. -3+ years of experience in construction management with experience in large commercial projects exceeding $10 million. -Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent practical experience. -Experience with estimation and change order processes.
