Overview

Manage commercial aspects of water infrastructure projects, from feasibility to final account.

Tasks

-Administer NEC3/4 ECC contracts (Options A, C & E) on the client side -Maintain accurate commercial records and resolve contractual issues -Collaborate with Project Managers on payment certification and defined cost determination -Support contract administration and ensure compliance with terms -Proactively engaging with markets and suppliers; -Developing a premier capability and team; -Monitor costs, assist in negotiating variations, and support claims resolution -Work with senior leadership to support bid development and proposal strategy -Help maintain a database of lessons learned, bid outcomes, and client insights -Provide commercial input and cost data to strengthen submissions -Identify risks and contribute to mitigation strategies -Support budget control, payment valuations, and cost forecasting -Assist in preparing and evaluating tender documentation -Contribute to final account preparation and post-project evaluation -Contribute to continuous improvement across commercial and bidding processes -Streamlining and enhancing operational workflows; -Conduct feasibility studies and cost planning

What You Bring

-Line management experience and ability to mentor junior QSs -Familiarity with CDM regulations and risk management -Exposure to ECI/ESI in design & build programmes -Right to work in the UK; this role subject to client interview and acceptance -Valid CSCS card; Water Hygiene Card desirable -Experience in water, environment, defence, or nuclear sectors -Progress toward RICS chartership or equivalent professional development -NEC3/4 contract expertise (Options A, C, E essential) -Degree in Quantity Surveying (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
