Tasks

-Contribute to final account preparation and post-project evaluation -Streamlining and enhancing operational workflows; -Provide commercial input and cost data to strengthen submissions -Proactively engaging with markets and suppliers; -Identify risks and contribute to mitigation strategies -Assist in preparing and evaluating tender documentation -Support budget control, payment valuations, and cost forecasting -Maintain accurate commercial records and resolve contractual issues -Support contract administration and ensure compliance with terms -Administer NEC3/4 ECC contracts (Options A, C & E) on the client side -Collaborate with Project Managers on payment certification and defined cost determination -Developing a premier capability and team; -Conduct feasibility studies and cost planning -Help maintain a database of lessons learned, bid outcomes, and client insights -Work with senior leadership to support bid development and proposal strategy -Monitor costs, assist in negotiating variations, and support claims resolution -Contribute to continuous improvement across commercial and bidding processes

What You Bring

-Progress toward RICS chartership or equivalent professional development -Line management experience and ability to mentor junior QSs -Familiarity with CDM regulations and risk management -Exposure to ECI/ESI in design & build programmes -Valid CSCS card; Water Hygiene Card desirable -Experience in water, environment, defence, or nuclear sectors -Degree in Quantity Surveying (Bachelor’s or Master’s) -NEC3/4 contract expertise (Options A, C, E essential) -Right to work in the UK; this role subject to client interview and acceptance
