Tasks

-Lead daily site safety meetings and investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses. -Implement corrective actions and conduct post-incident meetings. -Maintain all safety, health, and environmental documents, including incident reports and inspection forms. -Provide guidance to the project team and trade partners on environmental, health, and safety guidelines. -Conduct safety orientation training and assist with safety and compliance inspections. -Review safety protocols at projects to ensure compliance with company and government standards. -Act as a subject matter expert on safety-related regulatory and legislative matters.

What You Bring

-Certified Safety Professional certification preferred. -OCIP/CCIP experience preferred. -Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel. -Degree in Safety and Health field is a plus. -Strong communication and interpersonal skills. -Minimum 2 years of construction safety experience. -First Aid/CPR Instructor certification preferred. -Ability to maintain confidentiality. -Experience with Intelex Data Management System preferred. -Experience with OSHA regulations and inspections. -Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) or Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification.
