Tasks

-Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and other methodologies to eliminate bottlenecks, improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance process efficiency. -Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Project Management to resolve production issues and align operations with business goals. -Leadership and Team Development: Manage and mentor production staff, support workforce planning, and foster a high-performing, collaborative team environment. -Budget and Cost Control: Support budget planning, control production costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining safety and quality standard -Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to OSHA and Siemens Energy safety standards, promote a strong safety culture, and maintain full compliance with EHS regulations through training, audits, and risk assessments. -Operations Management: Oversee daily manufacturing activities, coordinate production schedules, and monitor key performance indicators (safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory) to meet customer commitments.

What You Bring

-Experience: Minimum 10 years in manufacturing, including at least 5 years in a leadership or people management role; experience in transformer manufacturing or heavy electrical equipment is preferred. -Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or HANA, and experience with quality control, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. -Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Industrial Engineering. -Leadership & Soft Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams; strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities; collaborative and results-driven. -Technical Expertise: Skilled in production planning, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (certification preferred), TPM, OEE, and continuous improvement; strong knowledge of OSHA and EHS compliance. -Language & Mobility: Fluent in English with willingness to travel occasionally and relocate for the position.
