Lead shift team at Linford plant, ensuring safe, efficient production and maintenance.

Tasks
-Attend and actively participate in Daily Briefings and Weekly Safety Briefings -Ensuring mobile plant cleanliness standards -Ensure products of high quality are efficiently produced -Building working relationships with other production and maintenance personnel -Ensure safe load optimisation -Ensuring that Health & Safety rules are adhered to and deliver safety/operational performance targets supporting a culture of health and safety best practice by setting a personal example -Supervise team and manage contractors and haulier engagement -Ensure you read, understand and sign method statements and risk assessments for all activities. -Supporting continuous improvement of process, plant and production -Comply with planning and other operating restrictions i.e. site boundaries, noise, dust, hours etc -Supporting continuous improvement of Health, Safety and Environmental performance standards -Comply with all Tarmac/CRH Policies & Procedures -Balancing the time covering operation and house keeping -Identify and communicate opportunities for continuous improvement In addition to reviewing implementing any appropriate best practice -Effectively control daily operations of the plant in line with the operating SOP’s -Prioritising planned works -Ensuring daily compliance checks and standards -Ensure that Site Inspections are completed and recorded -Ensure Daily KPIs are recorded accurately and work with the team to meet agreed KPI’s -Actively look to identify SHE improvement opportunities -Work closely with maintenance team/contractors to co-ordinate maintenance activities during a normal day and during shutdowns

What You Bring
-PC literate including Microsoft excel, word and power point -Manufacturing process experience -Familiar with ISO 9001, 14001, 18001, 50001 standards -Effective completion of operator preventative maintenance tasks -Good oral and written English -Heavy plant and equipment experience
