Accounts Payable (AP) Administrator

Process vendor invoices for North American manufacturing sites, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Tasks

-Collaborate with colleagues from Purchasing and Logistics to resolve problems and obtain necessary approvals and coding. -Develop a thorough knowledge of pertinent internal controls, policies, and procedures regarding vendor invoice processing and disbursements. -Provide accounts payable services for one or more manufacturing sites located in North America. -Ensure invoices to be processed for payment are valid, accurate, and appropriately approved. -Respond to inquiries from vendors and work together to resolve differences. -Ensure invoices are processed timely and within the pre-approved payment terms. -Validate and confirm that the correct purchase orders are applied and invoices are coded accurately to the proper general ledger accounts.

What You Bring

-Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. -Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent experience is required. -Relevant experience in accounts payable is strongly preferred. -Strong ability to solve problems and pro-actively seek solutions. -Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. -Experience working in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with a commitment to meeting deadlines. -Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred. -Experience with SAP or JDE World is preferred. -Ability to work both independently and within a team. -Strong attention to detail.
