Tasks

Evaluate training effectiveness and implement continuous improvements Provide constructive feedback and coaching to support professional development Assess training needs and develop tailored curricula to address skill gaps Develop engaging training materials, including presentations, handouts and digital resources Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and relevance Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions Design and deliver EA Training courses for engineers Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in engineering training

What You Bring

Solid understanding of engineering principles and practices Due to continuous growth and expansion, we are recruiting for a HV Engineer Trainer to join our EA Training team. If you have a strong background in high voltage engineering and a passion for developing others through the development and delivery of technical training, we would be delighted to hear from you! Ability to engage and motivate learners across varying skill levels Coaching and mentoring abilities to support professional growth Electrical Engineering qualification and/or proven experience in the T&D industry Strong communication and presentation skills Awareness of industry trends and best practices in engineering training Flexibility to travel to client sites to deliver training Competence in delivering training both in-person and virtually Experience in instructional design and curriculum development Familiarity with staff development methods through training and mentoring Certification in training or instructional design would be a distinct advantage Strong organisational and planning skills Experience in operational, protection or design engineering within the transmission & distribution (T&D) industry would also be considered an advantage ***this role is based at Capenhurst (CH1 6ES) with travel to customer sites approx. 2-3 days per month***
