Tasks
-Provide advice to colleagues on risk management, compliance and associated behaviours, to ensure adherence to Arcadis’ risk and compliance processes -Provide specialist technical advice to senior management on issues relating to cost/commercial management, providing solutions and actively sharing knowledge in order to support successful delivery -Interact effectively and proactively across the organisation, seeking to develop ways to support collaboration with the cost management function, and applying technical knowledge to ensure projects/programmes can be delivered to meet cost expectations -Manage relationships and collaborate with clients and external stakeholders, in order to ensure client satisfaction and create new business opportunities -Analyse and review a range of data and documents to collate key themes and trends, using this analysis in conjunction with own knowledge to provide advice and make recommendations to support cost and commercial management decision-making -Share knowledge and provide insightful recommendations to assist service improvement and innovation -Deliver a number of small to medium cost projects and assignments or significant components of larger assignments, ensuring appropriate use of resources and budgets to deliver the required scope of work within set deadlines -Present any project risks or issues to senior managers to ensure the project is not adversely impacted -Use own knowledge and experience combined with research of industry best practice to analyse existing processes and policies

What You Bring
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline -Experience Proven track record in delivering medium/large projects across an entire lifecycle, with expertise in cost and commercial management. -Possess the skills and experience to actively support the internal team and manage more junior staff on technically complex projects/programme of works typically ranging between £1m and £40m. -Professional qualification or chartered status to RICS or CIOB status -CSCS card holder -Demonstrable understanding of clients key objectives within the appropriate sector -Strong Construction technology and technical experience and cost planning experience is preferred -Leadership: Strong people management and motivational skills, with experience building and managing client relationships at senior levels.
