Tasks

-Prepare reports and documentation as needed for audits or management review. -Manage accounts payable, including processing invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders within the company's internal financial system. -Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. -Maintain an accurate trial balance and support full-cycle bookkeeping activities. -Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are correctly recorded. -Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure accurate allocation of expenses.

What You Bring

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Accounting Assistant with strong bookkeeping experience in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will support our finance team by ensuring accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, and managing accounts payable and purchasing activities through our internal system. -Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team. -High attention to detail and accuracy. -Strong organizational and time-management skills. -Proven bookkeeping experience, preferably in the construction or related industry. -Proficiency in Deltek Computer Ease or other construction accounting software.
