Tasks

-Provide training and support to end users to facilitate change management efforts and adoption -Stay up to date with reporting tool updates and features to maintain best practices -Identify more accurate ways of reporting, analyzing and communicating information and insights -Develop end-to-end business intelligence solutions from raw data to deployment -Build and maintain data agents to enable conversational experiences -Become a subject matter expert on datasets, reporting tools and analytical solutions -Ensure governance, security, and compliance for models and agents -Sustain support for the portfolio of analytical solutions in production

Majestic Steel is looking to expand capacity within the Analytics Area to help manage its business intelligence and delivery platforms. We believe data should inform decision making across all functional areas of the company, and our associates should be empowered with insights, tools and training. In this role you will drive these values into practice by developing data models, KPI’s, dashboards, reporting and insights that are accurate and performant. The primary function of this role is to provide business intelligence to the organization through our analytics platform. The candidate will have a passion for data, analytics, technology, work well in collaboration with the entire team and be a motivated self-starter. -Minimum of three (3) years of analytical experience creating reports, dashboards, and transforming large amounts of data into actionable intelligence to drive business decisions -Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate -Excellent mathematical, analytical, and critical thinking skills -Ability to work independently -Organized and creative thinker, practical problem solver, with the ability to build relationships -Experience with Microsoft SQL Server environment, SSAS within and/or equivalent Transactional Data Warehouse environment -Advanced experience working with Microsoft Office products (esp. Excel) and Windows-based applications -Attention to detail while meeting deadlines -Bachelor’s Degree in Business in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field -Strong data visualization skills using Power BI -Skilled in preparing datasets using SQL -Effective verbal and written communication skills, professional appearance and presentation style -Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively from a home office setting. -Advanced DAX knowledge preferred -Experience with Fabric Data Agent configuration, Fabric Notebooks, Copilot Studio, Semantic Kernel, LangChain -Experience with Microsoft Fabric workloads -Must be able to work outside normal business hours/days as needed. -Familiarity with Copilot including report generation, semantic model interaction, and DAX creation
