Tasks

-Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the design team -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of wet utilities designs with other project components -Conduct site visits and field investigations to assess existing conditions and gather necessary data -Stay updated on industry trends and innovative technologies in wet utilities design -Ensure compliance with local and international design standards, regulations, and best practices -Prepare technical reports, presentations, and design documentation for clients and stakeholders -Develop and oversee the design of wet utilities systems, including water distribution networks, sewage collection systems, and stormwater management facilities -Perform hydraulic calculations and analysis to optimize system performance and efficiency -Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery of high-quality designs -Utilize advanced CAD software and hydraulic modeling tools to create detailed design drawings and specifications

-Ability to mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership -Experience in project management, including timeline and budget oversight -Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software, and hydraulic modeling tools -Minimum 7-10 years of experience in wet utilities design, with a focus on water supply, wastewater, and stormwater systems -Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools -Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field -Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred -Strong organizational abilities and efficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously -Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate in a team environment -Strong knowledge of local and international wet utilities design standards and regulations -Understanding of sustainable water management practices and their application in design -Willingness to conduct site visits and field investigations in the Abu Dhabi region -Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
