Tasks

-Maintaining and repairing critical building and site systems. -Driving resident satisfaction by responding to and completing work orders timely in a quality manner. -Driving property performance by performing any and all work that produces clean, safe, and attractive common areas, including: pools, laundry, clubhouses, parking lots, etc. -Ensuring a safe work environment by identifying any issues regarding safety, hazardous conditions or maintenance needs on the property and correcting them and/or reporting them to the Maintenance Supervisor. -Using software applications to track work and personal performance. -Maintaining property value by performing preventative maintenance throughout the property. -Providing excellent customer service when interacting with residents, guests, and vendors. -Ensuring Resident satisfaction by preparing vacant apartments for move-in. -Coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor and team to prioritize tasks throughout the day.

What You Bring

-Must live within 30 minutes of community -Less than 25 pounds - Constant need (66% to 100% of time) -At least 1 year of general maintenance/general repair experience, preferably in the multifamily or related industry -Applicants will be required to pass a background check, and reference check prior to their first day to verify their employment eligibility -over 150 pounds - Rare need (less than 5% of time) -Must be willing to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays -Trade Licensing preferred but not required -between 75 - 150 pounds - Occasional need (1% to 33% of time) -between 25 - 75 pounds - Frequent need (33% to 66% of time) -High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred but not required -EPA Type I, Type II or Universal certification strongly preferred -Certified Pool Operator (CPO) -Trade skills including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, framing, painting, roofing, cabinetry, pools, appliance, etc. -Must have own hand tools -*Must be able to perform physical requirements of the job such as lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 pounds. -Must have dependable transportation and be able to accommodate a rotating on-call schedule
