Tasks

-Transcribing engagement feedback and developing engagement summary reports. -Visiting project sites as required. -Taking minutes at internal meetings and external engagement events. -Identifying and managing risk, reducing exposure to risk and protecting organizational and project reputations. -Building, maintaining, and regularly updating communications logs and stakeholder registries. -Attending and coordinating logistics for public and stakeholder engagement events such as meetings and information sessions, transporting and setting up associated -Supporting event/meeting facilitation. -Identifying relevant and/or impacted parties to build stakeholder lists. -Developing comprehensive engagement and communications strategies for large-scale infrastructure projects for review. Assisting with strategy implementation during -Developing materials such as display boards, newsletters, frequently asked questions, website content, and construction notices. -Coordinating reviews with senior and/or technical team members to ensure information included in materials is accurate and suitable for the intended audience. -Monitoring project inboxes, drafting responses to public inquiries, and ensuring responses are provided in a timely manner. -Consolidating, theming, and summarizing data, supporting the development of engagement summaries and other reports.

What You Bring

-Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle. -3+ years’ experience in a comparable role. -Ability to remain calm, collected, empathetic, and professional in difficult situations. -Ability to prioritize and solve problems individually and as part of a team environment. -Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. -Strong written and oral communication skills, with a proven ability to distill and simplify complex technical information. -Professional writing experience including plain language, web-content, internal and external communications.
