Tasks

-A level of overtime working would be required to assist in the management of peak capacity loadings and customer demands. -Disassemble, inspect, clean, test and reassemble mechanical and electrical assemblies to strict standards -Maintain high standards of safety, documentation, and shop floor efficiency -Collaborate with team leads to ensure quality, delivery, and cost expectations are met -Mechanically assemble switchboards for a major programme

What You Bring

-Demonstrate a hands-on, proactive approach with strong attention to detail -Bring experience working on diesel engines or electrical systems in a service or MRO environment -Work with diesel power rail power packs -Show good communication and documentation skills in a regulated environment -Be comfortable working independently and as part of a close-knit, goal-focused team -You must demonstrate an ability to be work within a team orientated environment and collaborate across multiple functions. Good interpersonal skills and good communication is essential in addition to working in a systematic and structured manner. -Have completed a recognised mechanical or electrical apprenticeship (or equivalent experience)
