Tasks

-Assist in the preparation of the monthly JV recharge. -Prepare and process payment runs within the timeframe. -Provide general accounting and clerical support to the Accounting & Finance department. -Assist in managing the general ledger, including journal entry preparation and balance sheet reconciliations. -Create vendor codes in SAP, as well as register and manage bank details for both, in compliance with internal policies. -Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes. -Maintain accurate transactional records, perform binding and document organisation tasks, and ensure compliance with internal control procedures. -Preparing ad-hoc reports and data analysis as required. -Assist in preparing the annual budget and developing monthly budget forecasts. -Assist with GST reconciliations and internal/external audit, and compliance review.

What You Bring

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to support various construction projects. -High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail. -Excellent verbal and writing communication skills. -Ideally, 2+ years' experience in similar roles with responsibilities managing internal and external stakeholders. -Previous experience with a large ERP system (eg. SAP, JD Edward) -Intermediate Excel skills with the ability to work confidently with large datasets. -Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. -Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
