Production Coordinator

Coordinates daily production, shipping, QA/QC, and administrative tasks

Tasks

-Actively participate in sites preventative maintenance program. -Coordinates EH&S activities as designated by the Site Manager. -Coordinates daily work activities for admixture production site. -Maintains QC documentation and QA calibration records. -Operate forklift to perform various responsibilities. -Maintains production and shipping documentation. -Responsible for testing of raw materials and finished products, labeling, record retention, and sample retention in quality laboratory. -Supports the Site Manager with on-the-job training to assure all employees are adequately trained and adhered to policies/procedures. -Responsible for goods receipt, coordinate with Accounts Payable to ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner. -Responsible for administrative duties within ERP system. This includes maintaining inventory, production, quality, and shipping through daily post goods issue reporting. -Assures the plant is maintained in a clean, organized, and safe manner. -Responsible for all plant activities and primary plant contact in the best interest of the company during the absence of the Site Manager.

What You Bring

-Ability to lead by example and a willingness to participate as a team member across all functions of the business. -Proficient in Microsoft office suite. -Five or more years’ experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent is preferred. -Ability to work with minimal to moderate supervision. -Fully understands and completes all mandatory environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) training. -Strong commitment to safety is required with experience in EH&S initiatives. -Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve production and quality control issues. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Ability to understand and follow all written work instructions, oral instructions, read various measuring devices, and perform basic mathematical calculations. -One or more years' experience leading a team is preferred. -Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
