Overview
Oversee safe delivery of construction/M&E projects, develop pipeline and manage budgets.

Tasks
-Generate project opportunities by building strong effective working relationships with our customers and site teams. -Ensures project documents are complete, current and appropriately stored. -Ensure full compliance with project management policies and procedures. -Handle high levels of information from a wide range of sources -Leverage opportunities through visibility and presence on customer sites. -Ensure CBRE QHSE practices and processes are fully embedded in each project. -Provide timely monthly reports to the Head of Projects/Business Unit Director in an agreed format. -Identify, reduce and manage all statutory and commercial risks associated with the project they are leading. -Use the LCR and FMR to build long term capex plans for customers. -Work closely with relevant stake holders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s). -Ensure customer acceptance is adhered to, in writing and in line with the project plans. -Mutually agree payment schedules and applications for payment to the benefit of the project and the business. -Liaise with colleagues and managers to determine and identify project opportunities. Use case studies to promote business and host key decision makers on show site tours. -Identify and develop a short/medium and long term pipeline of Project opportunities from the portfolio of customers within the Business Unit. -Manage commercial terms to eliminate risk -Have full accountability and responsibility for the safe management and delivery of project works in line with business processes and procedures working alongside contract teams and client to generate pipeline sales and opportunities. -Liaise with key stakeholders on their requirements and explain feasibility of their schemes to become a trusted advisor. -Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s) “end to end”. Activities to include but not be limited to estimating, business development, quantity surveying, sub-contractor management and site manager duties. -Work with developers, designers and sub-contractors to define and document scope(s) of work(s). Develop and understand the full scope of works in line with the desired project business case and in turn outcome. This is to be within agreed budget requirements and required profit margins. -Work within the current CDM process. In the main taking on the role of principle contractor. -Manage, run and draw up tenders on behalf of the customer as required. Carry out full tender analysis of all sub-contractor returns.

What You Bring
-Proven experience of running a P&L -Business standard of written and verbal literacy and numeracy -APM certified (or equivilant) (desirable) -Organised, able to prioritise and deliver within high pressure, business critical environments. -Has vision, and able to communicate this effectively. A role model for customer service excellence. -Experience of developing new project opportunities -Experience of creating, presenting and managing on bids, tenders and proposals. -Degree level qualification in Project Management (desirable) -Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills -CSCS black card holder -Demonstrable evidence of having managed a team -Highly organised with attention to detail -ability to influence -SMSTS certified -Prince 2 certified (desirable) -Degree level qualification within project management, construction management or equivalent (desirable) -Excellent motivational and influencing skills, with high levels of personal integrity -Ability to network -Incumbents must have a high level of energy, be self- starters, confident and stable in manner. -IOSH (desirable) -Highly motivated and self-aware -Recognised technical qualification in Construction, Mechanical or Electrical or similar (desirable) -Proven project management experience in either an M&E, FM, construction or critical environment -Able to contribute effectively across all business activities. -Ability to inspire confidence
