Overview

Operate drill rigs to install deep foundations, traveling 80-100% across SE US.

Tasks

-Work in variable weather conditions and in physically demanding environments. -Lead and coordinate with drill crew, including helpers and laborers. -Document drilling activities, depths, and conditions encountered. -Using transits to set elevations and anchor bolts to spec -Read and interpret plans, drawings, and job specifications. -Rigging and setting casings and rebar cages plumb and on surveyed hole location -Assist with mobilization and demobilization of drilling equipment on job sites. -Monitor drilling conditions and adjust operations as needed to maintain safety and production goals. -Operate and maintain drill rigs, tooling, pumps, and support equipment. -Drill vertical holes to specified depths and diameters for piles, shafts, or other deep foundation systems. -Candidates will be required to do groundwork to help crews out as needed. -Employees will be required to work 10-12 hours per day helping in all aspects of foundation drilling and installing large diameter foundations. Work schedule is 10-12 days on/3-4 days off, (occasionally 3 weeks on/1 week off with some flexibility). -Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance. -Always ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures. -Setting up drill sites, checking layout, checking drill for plumb, and measure offsets to confirm hole location

What You Bring

-Proven experience as a Driller in vertical foundation preferred. -Must be able to carry materials for extensive periods (80-100 pounds) and work on uneven terrain. -Forklift and excavation equipment training preferred -Comfortable reading construction drawings and specifications. -Willingness to travel to out-of-town job sites as needed. -Basic mechanical skills for routine equipment repairs and troubleshooting. -Applicants must also be willing to drive to our Prairieville location for 1 week of training and before the start of each hitch. -Candidates must be willing to travel throughout the Southeast United States 80%-100% of the time. -Valid driver's license Class D or higher. Class A CDL with tanker endorsement is preferred. -Valid TWIC -Experience on drill rigs such as CZM, IMT, Bayshore, etc. -Strong commitment to safety and teamwork. -Ability to operate hydraulic drill rigs and related equipment.
