Tasks

-Involvement in Meaningful Projects: Contribute to the design and development of rail infrastructure projects, gaining a sense of ownership and making a tangible impact. -CAD Modeling and Drafting: Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software (Microstation) to produce accurate and detailed models and drawings. Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and project requirements. -Assist in Design Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of rail infrastructure projects by working closely with the rail design team. Collaborate with rail engineers to create detailed design drawings, plans, and specifications. -Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure designs meet client standards and are error-free. -Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data relevant to rail projects to support design and development activities.

What You Bring

-No prior experience required. -Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers and project managers. Communicate ideas, progress, and challenges clearly and effectively. -Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools. -Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program. -Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment. -Proficiency with electronic communication (e-mail, text) and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). -Basic oral and written communication skills. -Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. -Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work. -Teamwork and collaboration skills.
