The Role
Overview
Manage sales, client relations, and estimates for commercial roofing projects in Kelowna.

Tasks
-Pursue new business opportunities, preparing and presenting compelling proposals. -Conduct on-site assessments to gather measurements and identify project-specific challenges. -Review blueprints and project documentation to define accurate scopes and budgets. -Coordinate third-party inspections and resolve any identified deficiencies. -Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and improve margins. -Present and adjust estimates based on client feedback and project needs. -Develop detailed and competitive project estimates covering materials, labor, and timelines. -Lead sales and service presentations to top developers, builders and GC's in the area. -Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring top-tier service and satisfaction. -Strengthen relationships with existing general contractors, builders, and developers to encourage repeat business. -Manage and lead sales department (coach and mentor inside/outside sales reps). -Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project transitions and execution. -Research supplier pricing to identify cost-effective material options. -Maintain organized records of estimates, communications, and project data. -Support contract bidding processes to expand client base.

What You Bring
-Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs. -Proven experience in roofing or building materials/construction sales (specifically commercial roofing knowledge - flat roofs, torch-on and TPO) -Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. -Experience with CRM systems, estimating software, and Microsoft Office. -Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to challenges. -Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites. -Experience managing a sales team and sales department as well as strong knowledge of implementing new and effective sales strategies. -Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
