Machine Operator II - 3rd Shift

Overview

Operate and monitor forming/bending machines on the night shift, ensuring quality and safety.

Tasks

-Identify and tag tubs according to shop orders -Troubleshoot various machinery problems -QC and document all parts run on machines -Inventory components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely production -Retrieve and enter data into SAP computer system -Keep work areas clean and safe

What You Bring

-Understand and proficiently operate assigned machines/presses -Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure. -Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc. -Previous experience in a manufacturing environment -Able to work effectively and productively as member of a team with minimal supervision -Able to operate machinery and presses safely -Able to read, accurately interpret and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings -Able to accurately read tape measure, scales, and calipers -Experience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools. -No relocation package offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the work location to be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitations. -Exposure to cold/heat weather conditions while shipping doors are open -Fast paced working, while maintaining safety priorities -Able to identify different gauges and types of raw material -Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift. -More than 6 months of experience with forming or bending machines -More than 6 months of experience reading drawings or blueprints -Able to lift and bend on a continuous basis -Able to regularly lift 35 pounds without assistance.
