Tasks
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Technical Manager to lead the implementation and oversight of technical compliance across our operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all projects meet regulatory standards and client specifications through robust systems, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives. -Lead quality assurance programmes, including inspections and resolution of technical issues. -Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop detailed technical schedules and documentation. -Identify personal development opportunities and pursue relevant training. -Interpret and analyse client specifications to ensure alignment with internal standards and third-party certifications. -Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture across teams. -Stay current with industry developments through seminars, publications, and networking. -Identify training needs and support the professional development of site operatives and technical staff. -Conduct regular performance reviews and one-to-one meetings with direct reports. -Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to stay informed on product innovations and industry best practices. -Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards. -Represent the company’s technical standards in client meetings and presentations. -Organise and deliver internal training sessions focused on quality standards and new technologies. -Promote continuous learning and development within the department. -Provide technical support and guidance to operational teams. -Participate in internal and external meetings to support project delivery and strategic planning.

What You Bring
-Experience working with technical specifications and certification processes. -Degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. -Proven experience in a mid-senior technical or managerial role within the construction or engineering sector. -Familiarity with ISO standards and implementation. -Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and quality assurance frameworks. -Excellent communication and leadership skills.
