Assistant Project Manager

Overview

Assist PM in managing commercial ground-up construction projects from preconstruction to closeout.

Tasks

-Prepare progress reports and communicate updates to project stakeholders -Review and manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation -Monitor cost control, budgets, and job cost reporting -Ensure compliance with company safety standards and participate in site walks -Assist Project Manager with daily project operations from preconstruction through closeout -Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain project flow -Support punch list creation and project closeout efforts -Track project schedules and help keep teams on target with deadlines

What You Bring

-Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with field and office teams -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred -Proficiency with construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar) -Previous experience with a general contractor is strongly preferred -Knowledge of construction means, methods, and project management best practices -2+ years of experience with commercial ground-up construction projects -Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
