Document Controller

Overview

Manage and control project documents, drawings and correspondence using BIM 360 or similar.

Tasks

-Assist with audits and quality checks to maintain full document traceability and compliance -Support handover documentation compilation and archiving at project completion -Support design and site teams in uploading and retrieving controlled documents and drawings -Manage the receipt, distribution and tracking of all drawings, documents and correspondence using the company’s document control system such as BIM 360, Viewpoint or similar -Liaise with internal teams, consultants, subcontractors and clients to ensure timely document exchange -Maintain up-to-date registers of drawings, technical submittals, RFIs and project correspondence -Provide guidance and training to team members on document control processes and systems where required -Monitor document workflows and highlight any delays or issues in approval processes -Ensure all documentation complies with Sisk standards and project naming conventions

What You Bring

-Experience on major infrastructure, building or design-led projects -Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications -Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and manage workload effectively in a busy environment -Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail -Understanding of digital construction processes and BIM standards -Experience using document management systems such as BIM 360, Viewpoint or Aconex -Familiarity with ISO 9001 and quality management procedures -At least two years’ experience in document control within a construction or engineering environment
