Tasks

-Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards. -Review and analyze general ledger balances to ensure proper classification and coding of transactions. -Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and accounting standards. -Conduct account reconciliations and verify the accurate recording of financial transactions. -Support external audits by providing required documentation and information. -Oversee the general ledger, ensuring journal entries are accurately recorded and posted in a timely manner. -Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across all departments. -Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary data and resolve any discrepancies. -Monitor actual performance against budgeted figures and conduct variance analysis. -Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide financial improvement recommendations. -Maintain comprehensive documentation of financial transactions and audit trails. -Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all deadlines are met. -Review aging reports, manage collections, and ensure timely settlements with vendors and clients. -Prepare and analyze financial reports for management review and strategic decision-making. -Assist in the preparation and filing of corporate tax, VAT returns, and other local and federal tax filings. -Support the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. -Ensure timely and accurate tax reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements. -Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
