Field Service Technician

Overview

Depot‑based HVAC/Refrigeration technician performing service, repairs and maintenance.

Tasks

-Ensuring that equipment is prepared and made ready for hire or transfer on time -Provide technical support to Aggreko staff and when required to customers, supporting apprentice development and sharing expertise with local team -Strive to continuously improve service delivery and quality, ensuring equipment allocated meets business contract requirements -Carry out routine servicing of test plant in the depot, liaise with suppliers, internal procurement and Inventory teams to maintain stock levels -Comply with company QHSE procedures, maintaining awareness of all regulations to maintain a safe working environment -Servicing and maintenance of equipment (i.e. water & fluid chillers, air handlers, pumps and air conditioning units) -Perform major equipment repairs, carry out troubleshooting and fault diagnostics

What You Bring

-A City and Guilds/ONC level 3 qualification or equivalent -Good level of PC literacy including basic MS Office applications -Able to manage a client’s expectations when under pressure -Well organised and capable of keeping vehicle to GSCS standards -Refrigerant Handling (F Gas) CITB Brazing
