Tasks

-Support daily logistics operations including quote requests, scheduling inbound/outbound shipments, and assisting with freight claims -Identify carrier opportunities to enhance pricing and service levels. -Assist in developing relationships with carriers and onboarding new logistics partners. -Monitor carrier performance to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries. -Maintain communication with buyers, manufacturing leadership, and production managers to ensure logistics alignment with business needs. -Generate and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly logistics reports.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS). -Customer-focused with a proactive mindset and a sense of urgency. -Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a deadline-driven environment. -Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. -Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail. -Diploma or degree or diploma in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or a related field would be an asset -3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation. -Understanding of North American import/export trade compliance.
