Overview
Develop and assess electric transmission and substation projects in Bay Area.

Tasks
-Identify lessons learned and opportunities to enhance project development processes. -Track project progress against planning benchmarks and implementing adjustments as needed. -Prepare initial project plans including timelines, resource allocations, and cost estimates. -Ensure all development activities meet technical, environmental, and compliance standards. -Collaborate with engineering, procurement, environmental, and construction teams to refine project requirements. -Assemble and deliver comprehensive project development packages—including scope documentation, risk assessments, schedule baselines, and cost estimates—for handoff to the execution team. -Support contract administration and oversee vendor coordination throughout the development phase. -Lead stakeholder meetings and ensure transparent reporting of risks, changes, and performance metrics. -Develop preliminary project scopes, schedules, budgets, and prioritization strategies to inform go/no-go decisions. -Champion values of safety, accountability, collaboration, and integrity. -Identify site constraints, permitting pathways, and regulatory considerations. -Conduct technical and financial feasibility assessments for new electric transmission and substation projects. -Facilitate communication and alignment among internal departments, external vendors, regulatory agencies, and utility clients.

What You Bring
-PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred -Minimum 5 years of experience in utility or energy project development, preferably within electric transmission or substation environments. -Ability to manage cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment. -Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. -Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related discipline. -Proficiency in feasibility analysis, stakeholder engagement, and project planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, SAP)
