The Role

Overview

Load bulk trucks, monitor unloading, maintain safety, operate equipment.

Tasks

-Cleaning all areas of the terminal and grounds, and obtaining daily/weekly samples. -Continuously monitoring the unloading process, while safely operating manual unloading gates, air valves and blowers. -Adhering to company safety policies and performing work in a safe manner. -Loading bulk trucks in a safe, efficient and timely manner from the designated silos, as instructed by the Terminal Manager. -Spotting railcars over the loading area to connect the cars with the unloading equipment. -Ensuring each load is completed to the customer’s specification within legal limits.

What You Bring

-Able to work different extended hours, holidays and/or overtime as required -Ability to work independently, without constant supervision -Ability to work at heights up to 150 feet -Speak, read, write and understand English -Ability to operate forklifts and tractors for cutting grass -In good physical condition, able to bend, use broom and shovel, able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs., sit and stand for extended periods of time, kneel, climb ladders and walk on mixed terrain and in confined spaces -Able to work inside and outside in year-round weather conditions -High School Diploma or equivalent from accredited institution is required
