Overview

Drive sales and manage client relationships for HVAC/energy solutions.

Tasks

-Establishing relationships with prospective clients. -Seeking out and researching prospective projects through various methods (e.g., phone calls, visits, attending conferences, utilizing the Internet, leveraging existing relationships). Contacting prospective client Chief Engineer, Facility Managers and Engineering Directors to introduce yourself and develop future relationships. -Working with the Director of Business Development, Project Managers and Engineering Supervisors in constantly reviewing and improving account programs to meet targeted objectives. -Developing sales at defined margin levels to attain market share. -Preparing and delivering client presentations. -Managing existing client relationships and developing new business with existing accounts. -Develop, write, and review client proposal documents including financial and technical sections, using EMCOR Service/Mesa Energy Systems standard template and pricing models.

What You Bring

-Financial acumen, inclusive of cost modeling for sales proposals. -Independent decision-making is required. -Relevant technical experience, preferably in a Facilities Management or Operations and Maintenance environment. -8+ years’ sales experience in HVAC commercial service and/or building automation. -A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or business administration is preferred. -Experience in developing technical and cost proposals. -Strong customer presentation skills and demonstrated sales aptitude. -Computer skills using MS Office required. Strong Excel skills are required.
