The Role

Overview

Provide first line IT support, handling tickets, user accounts and asset management.

Tasks

-Creating/deleting/updating of user accounts -Taking and logging of calls on ServiceNow -Create and manage IT internal business procedures as guided by the IT team -Manage and chase IT assets (Laptops, PCs, Smartphones, Printers etc. from staff who have left etc) -IT ordering including renewals of licenses and software agreements authorized by the IT Director -Manage starter/leaver process from an IT perspective -Maintain Asset and software database -Maintain department procedures/processes/forms etc (User creation etc –Guided by the IT Team) -Scanning of order forms/user forms and other important documents -Control and match invoices and scan all documentation -The role will also need to regularly interact and interface with, Internal and External Customers, CDS, Client IT Teams, Rail UK IT Management/leadership team and Third party suppliers/partners. -Update and maintain software license database
