Tasks

-Identifying as well as developing new clients -Preparing and providing weekly schedules of planned activities, along with monthly, quarterly, and annual summaries -Supporting project teams and tasks associated with project delivery -Supporting negotiations with clients on scope, schedule, and budget considerations -Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients -Attending in-person meetings with clients as well as communicating with them via telephone, MS Teams or written communication -Maintaining an accurate database on current and potential clients. -Ensuring that the needs of the clients are met with a focus on profitability -Advising upper management about client needs. -Direct outreach to new/target clients -Identifying and proactively resolving problems related to customer service -Tracking and participating in industry associations throughout the noted region -Taking accurate inquiry details from clients

What You Bring

-Candidates must have proven experience building relationships and rapport with public and private sector representatives -Driver’s license and clean driving record is required -Candidates must have a minimum of 25 years of broad technical and management public works experience in the public sector in Massachusetts -Cross-training and the ability to work on a variety of projects. -Excellent communication and customer services skills are required -Regular travel to associations and clients throughout the metrowest, central, southeast, cape and islands areas of Massachusetts, and others as needed -Must have the ability to work efficiently under pressure -Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalency -Excellent organizational and time management skills are a must -A general understanding of typical public works and utilities requirements, including drinking water, sewer, transportation, and construction is required
