Overview

Assist in food prep, service and kitchen hygiene for a hospital catering team.

Tasks

-Regularly evaluate food ingredients contents and allergens prior to processing -Maintain kitchen, equipment and utensils in a safe, operational and hygienic condition. -Ensure all stock is stored following FIFO (First in First Out) and always prevent cross contamination

What You Bring

-Minimum 1-2 years in similar role -Experience in a healthcare environment such as Hospitals or Aged Care is preferred but not essential -High standard of personal presentation and strong communication skills -Worked within HACCP certified environment is preferred -Experience in 5-star hotels, a la carte restaurants, functions and/or catering environment is essential.
