Tasks

-Calibrate thermostats, test electrical circuits, and ensure system efficiency. -Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment. -Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, building codes, and environmental regulations. -Diagnose system malfunctions and determine the most effective repair solutions. -Communicate clearly with customers regarding service needs, repair options, and cost estimates. -Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of projects. -Maintain accurate service records, parts inventory, and job documentation. -Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and ductwork. -Participate in on-call rotations for emergency service as required.

What You Bring

-Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. -Excellent communication and customer service skills. -2+ years of experience as an HVAC technician or in a related field. -High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in HVAC systems preferred. -Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. -EPA Section 608 Certification (Type I, II, or Universal) required. -Strong knowledge of HVAC system design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. -Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (indoor/outdoor, confined spaces, rooftops).
